The Camaro Legends judges, based on many survivors studied in recent years, accept the flat handle as the original style released on ‘69. Camaros from the assembly plants. The round handle with green tip is a GM service replacement. I had an NOS GM green tip replacement dipstick on my Norwood build ‘69 Z28 for years but changed it to a clean used original flat handle style prior to attending the Nationals this year for Bow Tie with Legends check. Here are a few pics of both side by side.
