My driver door is toast on the bottom from rust and the inner door parts are as good as gone also. Can I just swap a door from a 70-79 Camaro? Thanks ahead of time

I would have to look in my Hollander parts interchange book to be sure and that's in the garage and it's late but I believe there is a difference in the location of the window crank (or maybe the inside door handle) that makes it not an exact swap. By the time I ran out to look it up one of the 2nd gen experts will have answered already. If you don't have an answer by morning I'll look it up and report back.
70-74 & 75-81 interchange because as NHBandit said above, the door handles or window cranks are in different locations I believe also and maybe how the door panel attaches.
At least thats what Classic Industries list for their full door shells fitment and btw they list for 75-81 > $599.00 & $679.99 for 70-74
I think you will find that YES , you can swap out the doors but there are differences.
If i remember correctly , the main issue was the door handle and its location compared to the mid 70s ( which makes door panels a problem to use )
