How do the hotels work?

Where are all of these people going to stay in the Englishtown area?

We should start planning for the camaro.net team photo in the Englishtown pit. We would need the banner that John Doyle had at Carlisle last summer.

Would it kill them to run the Pacific Coast?

I was at three cities on Power Tour 2005.......as Clill and the web sites say they have host hotels, etc etc.......and they may or may not still have rooms.....I'm suggesting that, as I did you can book your own Cheap Seats places as I did staying at Super 8, Motel 6, Comfort Inns etc etc......

Hotels...

I found it cheaper to book hotels on my own. It is convenient to use their site, however, you are not getting a big discount. I used mapquest to find the venues and then searched for nearby hotels. I was able to get rooms at a cheaper rate and stay at hotels where I can use travel points for payment. FYI, the rooms are filling up.

Oh man, this would be a great venue to test out the new Tremec 5 speed ...but with a baby 3 weeks away...the phrase containing the words "snowballs chance in hell" comes to mind.
Craig,
I would be perfectly happy to help you out neighbor. I promise to take real good care of your car, keep it below 5500rpm, and pay for all the gas I use.

For those that have been on a power tour. I read the price is $65 to join. Is that for 1 leg or doesnt matter? What does that get you? I would like to just be there friday at E-town and watch everyone come in and party with them and the end. Would that cost anything?

Does anyone know the actual route the tour takes? Does it go on the back roads or do they only drive the interstates?

2005 was $50.00 for Everything entire trip . 2006 is $65.00
2005 was approx $20.00 to enter your car at one stop...Not sure how much $$ just to spectate......
2005 $50.00 entry got me all the misc goodie bags with lotsa crap, but also some good stuff, Catered lunch everyday sponsored by different companys (like Edelbrock) and nightly drawings for good merchandise prizes......of which I MISSED OUT (you have to be present) on a Detoit Locker SetUp $$$$$
Anyway a good time.......but actual driving from City to city can get quite spread out.......but when driving down freeway passing or being passed by ALL these other cool cars and being part of the all the hoopla is a real fun expereince.....
Ive shipped the above Yellow Camaro back to Seattle, sO I wont be a part of another until they ever come west......
