I'm putting some factory gauges in my 67 RS and I have Vortec heads with the 3/8" NPT hole instead of the normal 1/2" for a temp sensor. Right now I have a temp switch from a 71 Gremlin in there for my idiot light.
I would like to put the gauge sensor in the other head. Does anyone know of a 3/8" temp sensor that is compatible with a 67 factory gauge? I know I can put the oem sensor on the intake, but I really prefer to have the sensor in the head.

I solved the problem, I wasn't able to find a 3/8" sensor so I took my 1/2" sensor to the bench grinder and borrowed a friends pipe threader to make it 3/8". Everything works great now!
