Hello, did a search and see now there is 3 different door jamb's, my car is a mid style with the telephone style jamb and the nos quarter I have is the later, question is the early quarter harder to find?,I thought of cutting the jamb into the nos one unless I find, trade or use a aftermarket which brings me to,is the aftermarket quarters the later styles also????

I read the other thread.

Can you not cut the quarter before the jamb assuming that your current jamb is good?

When I did quarters on mine, we cut about 5-6" after the jamb and installed the lower quarter.

Rob,

My '67 has the first / early style without the vertival indentations near the pinch weld area, (with the full handset stamping), and I have found no such part available at any vendors or NOS. I will also have to section in the jamb area to keep the car in the "as built" condition. FWIW

my jambs look okay right now but after it's stripped the inside curve at the bottom may be gone.if so I thought of just grafting in the telephone are only but that involve's taking it off, welding to nos panel then re install, but i do have a 67 bird parts car with the same jamb so i could use both to make one because I plan on using my prospot to weld it back together.anybody have pics on grafting their jambs?I have done it after market the jambs with aftermarket quarters but never tried to save the a area to reuse to this degree.
