I want to make my plane Jane 69 a Z clone, for the engine I have a small journal 327 and a steel 283 crank, what compression ratio would a 69 Z have had? so Ill know what piston and head combo to run. Im not trying to make a fake Z to sell to an unaware person so dont get to bent out of shape I just want a Z but dont want to remortgage the house to get one!

That's OK. Badges don't fake a car. Just don't put a fake TT, VIN plate or restamp parts to lie to a buyer.

Oh it will be badged a Z28 it is allready badged an SS with SS hood I just prefer the Z with a cowl hood. It will still have the X44 cowl tag and original VIN not trying to lie to anyone! I will tell them it is a tribute.
