65 Pontiac 8.2 carrier fit a 67 Camaro 8.2 rearend?

Does anyone know one way or another if there is a difference in a 8.2 Posi carrier from a 65 GTO to a 67 Camaro? I have an old rear end that came out of my father in laws GTO years ago, that I would like to stuff the gears and posi into an extra 67 Camaro rear end I have laying around, but I have heard they may be different?? Anyone know what the difference is if any??

Are both "housings" 8.2" BPO (Buick, Pontiac, Olds)?

If so I would think the gears & Diff are the same.....

Chevy and BOP 8.2 parts will not interchange. Maybe sell it and use the cash to upgrade yours.

The Pontiac rear end uses a Borg Warner differential that will not accept c clips. You can not use it in a Chevy rear end. The axle splines are also different.
