I am new here, but I could not wait for a valance so I made my own. Here it is. I am having a mold made this week if anyone is interested in getting this valance made in fiberglass. Pictures of it painted and finished on the car will be coming soon.

*This is a 1967 Rally Sport Valance with 1969 Indicator lights. My design retains the factory RS turn signal (I use amber LED) and adds the awesome "Eleanor" Indicator/Driving lights...

Here is a picture BEFORE the modification....

Correct. No front plate is required in michigan. I filled in the holes, so if you want one of these you will have to drill holes to mount a front plate if required by law for your state.

Ya, I couldn't wait for that guy so I made my own. I am making a fiberglass mold this weekend. Who would be interested in purchasing one? I'm 99.9% sure that this will bolt right up to a 68. The only difference would be the 68 has different parking lamp housings compared to the 67 RS. So you could just buy 67 RS housings OR we could fill in the holes and you could go with the 69 indicators only. That could be a very good option, but I like the fact that I will have 4 amber LED lights upfront with my hidden headlights :)
I Just got confirmation that this panel will indeed bold to a 1968 Camaro. As I stated above, you would have to switch to the 67 RS indicator lights or I could fill them in and you could use the 69 indicator lights only....

Hood release handle can be bent slightly backwards and is still accessible from under the valance. Yes, I know it sounds like a PAIN, but its worth it. I thought about altering the design and making an opening on the left and right side, but it looks sooo much better with it all smoothed out. There are also other options, but at this time, that's what I am doing.

It does not look like a 69. The 1967 RS has a TON of features that the 69 does not. In this case, the lights are closer together, and I kept the RS indicator lights to give it a whole new look... Wait til you see it all lit up with amber LED's and the Marquez Design Billet Indicator Lights can be modified to be a driving light as well as an amber LED marker... And not to be rude, but if you don't like it, look away! I think it will look awesome and cooler than ANY 1969 I've seen on the road.

I didn't mind the mod on Bad Penny, but the valence lights are way too close together for my liking on this one. I had a twisted fantasy once of a 68 Camaro with a 69 RS Grill and 69 tail lights with the rear quarter louvers, but then I woke up. But for a second I wish someone would have done it just so I could have seen what it looks like. My guess is like anything else, it could look cool if it was done right. Doing it right is the clincher. But I agree the thing that makes each year unique is the defining atributes of each year. But I would still like to see that crazy mod just to see what it would look like. In my dream it was the best looking Camaro of all time. Think I'll have another drink and go to bed!

I really like the 69 lights down below, and the choice of lights. Would love to see a version with just the 69 lights, spaced further apart with no front bumper. Also think it'd look great with no holes. You'd just need to install a cable pull for the hood latch as mentioned.Bet it'd be sweet.

To each his own :)

The lights are positioned exactly how they will be on the fiberglass one. It would be no problem to fill in the RS indicator light holes and the bumper holes. Just a little extra labor = a little extra charge...

Fiberglass is a very strong material, so it will not need any additional bracing and will be just as strong if not stronger than the original. I can do the part with the 69 lights only, but that does add some additional labor so figure another $50 on top of the $400-$450 estimated price as is...

I wanted to get away from the 69 look, hence keeping the 67 RS Indicator lights...

Anyone else interested please PM me. These will be able to ship very soon.

This pictured here is the standard part that I will be offering in fiberglass. It will be costing between $400-$450 as is (PM me for modification requests). It will bolt up to any 1967/68 Camaro (works with 67 bumper, 68 not confirmed but can be filled in for people that don't want to run a bumper). It uses standard 67 RS indicator lights and i recommend using LED's :) and any factory style or billet 69 indicator light. I am making the mold this weekend and I will know more about the exact cost when I know how much is involved in the making of the molds. I will update first thing next week.
