hello all, and thanks for solving many of my problems without even posting. I hope I may be of help someday as well. Heres the issue I am currently having. front right turnsignal lights with brake light, functions normally as a turn signal without depressing brake pedal, and functions as a park light without depressing brake pedal(when depressed, both filliments light). new wiring harness front and rear(RS Harnesses). indicator on dash for right side also lights when brake is depressed. I currently have the rear light harness unpluged and condition still exists. if brake switch is unpluged, front turn does not light up. I hope someone has some idea here, i am scratching a hole in my head on this one. Thank you

Re: 68 camaro wiring issues

If dash harness was replaced, could have Dark Blue wire tagged to another or in the wrong place on the steering connector going to the turn signal switch.

AIM shows colors in order: (Pass to drvr) gray, blue, dark blue, light blue, brown, purple, yellow, and dark green.
Welcome, Matt. Correct year.

Re: 68 camaro wiring issues

My 68 suffers from something like that, but just to one side, and don't involve activating the front turn signal when brakes applied, but you can check this anyway. When I finished troubleshooting my problem, the culprit was/is a bad turn signal switch.
Some time in the future, I'll install a new switch.
