Nice job Mike....thanks, maybe it can be a "sticky?"

Nice Job...................

Thanks now if only I could read mine. Got a really bad printing job. Can't complain I guess it came with the car. The 69 one I had was 100 times clearer.

It's even simpler if you just use the indexing that's already built into the manual:

UPC 0 - General Information
UPC 1 - Body and interior/exterior trim and hardware
UPC 2 - Frame
UPC 3 - Front suspension
UPC 4 - Rear suspension & prop shaft
UPC 5 - Brakes
UPC 6 - Engine
UPC 7 - Transmission & clutch
UPC 8 - Fuel & exhaust
UPC 9 - Steering
UPC 10 - Wheels & tires
UPC 11/13 - Front sheet metal, radiator & grille
UPC 12 - Electrical
UPC 14 - Bumpers & miscellaneous

The above covers every part that's on a base car (no options); option parts are in the second half of the manual, organized alphabetically by RPO number - A31 first, ZL2 last.

ALL Chevrolet assembly manuals are set up this way, regardless of year or car line. Where there's more than one supplier of assembly manuals, they each use their own added "page numbers", and they never match; if you use the UPC number (or Option number) and sheet number, other folks with manuals from a different supplier can always follow along with you.

:beers:

Lucky68, you have done a great job. I belive JohnZ & RamAirDave are missing the point; you are actually given the page numbers to find what one may be looking for, instead flipping the pages to find the UPC and then flipping more pages to get exactly what need under the UPC.

Thanks Robert,

You're exactly right. I put this together after I got tired of trying to find specific areas under each UPC since there are no page numbers listed. The UPC index is usable but definitely not "simpler" in my opinion. Like I said before, I posted the index for anybody that feels they could use it. Thanks for pointing out the index and posting scanned copies of it. I guess I should have looked in the front of the book first.:D
