I'm planning to purchase The ET Classic Five wheels 17x 8 front, 17x9.5 rear for my 69. Every thing I've read says 4.75 bs for the front and 5.5 bs for the back, does everyone agree? I'm looking for as "deep dish" look as I can get without any rub. Can I get away with less BS? The car is stock height and has drum brakes. I'm thinking of running the Nitto 275-50-17 on the rear or maybe the 285-40 or 45 17 if it will fit. Don't know what to run on the front. Check out the wheels @ www.team3wheels.com. Let me know what ya think. Thanks, Rob

I think the wheels look cool!! You're right on for back spacing but it's really optimal for disc brake cars. I don't recall exactly but the hub surface is about 1/4" different in the rear. You might squeeze 275/40's back there but the 275/50's are about 1/10" wider but are about 2 1/2" taller and may pose a problem. I've always got a full car load of people and am very happy with 255/45/17 on 9 1/2" with 5 1/2" BS on a drumb brake. The wheel will move out about 1/4" when I convert to disc and I should have clearence without rolling the fender lip. I could have run the 275's if I rolled the lip...
