"New guy here, but I'm contemplating a big purchase" I have been looking at a car that is on eBay. A very good guy from the board here ( jeffd ) has gave me some very good info but he thought I should post on here as well to get some feed back from you guys. Any help would be GREAT. I can't seem to post the eBay link but here is the item # 351251437665 I know its not a perfect resto but I just want to make sure it is numbers matching and I can change things as I need to over the next few years. I will try and post some other pictures the owner sent me. Jeff if you see this please post the pictures I emailed you in case I can't get mine to load. Thanks, Brad
P.S. A 1969 Z28 is my dream car....

Umm, anyone notice it has an AUTOMATIC? CRG says NO.
Actually now that I looked at the pictures it looks like a Muncie but the ad says Automatic.

I made the same mistake on this car in another post a couple of days ago, this car does have a Muncie as the photos in the ad show, whomever filled out the ad fields did a booboo on the transmission field.

Are you able to get a sharper-focused picture of the engine pad stamp? Any partial VIN?
Sounds like you're only concerned about the numbers matching at this point, so not worried about the minor things.

Thats the only picture I have, owner says the VIN is on the block by the oil filter but its to faint to get a picture of it. I will look when I go see the car later this week. No I don't mind the minor things. Thanks

Datecodes in May can be somehow screewed up.

Mine is 05C and is only 381 units behind this one in VIN. And only 79 units behind in BDY and my BU is dated 0429.

The NCRS-report says that my car was made 05-15, this one probably too or on 05-14
