Guys, I purchased a completely disassembled BB convertible project. Things are going well, and I am getting close to the paint stage. I am starting to sort through the pile of parts that came with the car. Some of which were not from this car. Firstly, does anyone have a picture of the under dash heater box for a BB AC car? Also, I have an AC compressor but am unsure if it is from this car and am confused about differing information I have found about compressor part numbers. Can someone help me with the correct AC compressor part number for a 4 speed car. Thanks in advance. Scott

Do you have the AIM for your year Camaro?

If your AC is a pile of parts, this will show/tell you how everything goes back together.

If you are going to even THINK about revving the engine past or near 5K, replace the compressor with a Sanden. My kids blew up 3 GM A6 compressors until I swapped it out for a Sanden. The Sanden is lighter and takes WAY less HP to turn. While you are at it, go ahead and convert to R134a.

Scott post pics of the compressor. We should be able to tell you if it is original. Never heard of A6 compressors blowing up at 5K RPM. I have had mine up there and it still works fine...
