Kurt - question on the gauges. If a 69 has guages it should have the clock, right? Also, I am trying to figure out if I had the gauges on mine originally. I have an old mechanism clock, (not workng), but when I removed it it looked as though someone had cut out the original face plate to put the clock in. Would this have been done at the factory....or would a factory dash with a clock be molded that way? Thanks

how cleanly would you expect it to be cut? Would the factory have been really precise or would they just have run a knife down it to pop out the hole. Mine has some little jagged edges that are totaly concealed by the clock.

The clock wire does come out of the harness....and the harness to the console gauges looks original....but you never know.

As for being drunk....I went to school 3 blocks from a Chrysler plant...ever see those guys at lunch....always a beer or 2 involved. I'm just happy my tranny was built on a tuesday in the AM shift!
