i bought this unit off ebay .. for my 73 camaro with '79 wire harness. it is called an Executive Keyless Entry and Security 3000 system. The instructions are not that great. I am aware that there are different types of door lock systems, and it does not go into detail as to how to find which one you have and how to hook it up correctly. I guess it assumes you know what you are doing. It also has a starter interrupt, which i probably will not hook up. I just want lock/unlock with park light flast, and the trunk to open with the remote.
I know there are a bunch of wires coming off the door lock switch and i do not want to use the wrong ones. I also know many times you need extra relays to get these things to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can fax or scan the directions that came with the unit. I bought it in Nov '02 and would like to hook it up one of these days
