Are any mods necessary to weld in CE subframe connectors?

I just installed the bolt in CE connectors in my Nova.They fit up good with just a little bolt hole work at the rear mounts,and was against the floor at a few places,I bolted the connectors at the rear and welded them at the front.Looks to me it would work fine that way.
