Me too, if you go by model year. My 69 is a November 68 car; I'm a 12B of 69 "build".

Well, my 67 is older than I, but I guess I am a late 1st gen, born Jan 70.

 

I was in Vietnam in 67 and 68, dreaming of a Camaro...

I was born the second week of May in '68, my car ('69) was built the 2nd week of September in '68. Technically, I am 4 months (give or take a day or two) older than my car. I figure, the first 4 months of birth, you are not supposed to riding around in cars anyway except for Dr.'s appointments and what not, so the timing was perfect! Unfortunately, it took 24 years to finally purchase the car!

 

I'm with Toby, I'd been to college and been through my tour in the Navy before the Camaro came out. I put the senior in senior tech

 

Ha!! I'm so old, I coulda been a Hudson.

 

Although the juices were flowing when I was born due to a HORSE of a different color, the Camaro was only a gleam in the eyes of GM and Chevrolet!

My car was built Dec 66 but I'm an Oct 69 model.

 

I was a soph in High School when my 68 was new.
