Hi, I have my 67 restoration in full swing and I have been restoring the original nuts and bolts and fitting where possible.

These four in the picture below have been cleaned, blasted and blacked but they were in a bag with no label so I have no idea where they go.

They have a washer with small teeth so as to make them anti slip, I have all the door bolts so i am pretty sure its not that area. my head is saying possibly hood or hood hinges but I think I have these in a bag too.

Anyone know where these 4 go ?

Door hinges….5/18-18 with 1/2 hex head is my guess. I think the pilot on the end helps prevent cross threading in a manufacturing environment.
A real challenge to fix the plate those attach to if the threads are buggered.

Its the way I'm leaning to be honest, its also helped out by the history of the car only coming with one seat bolted it, it had been used as a drag racer. so I think I only had 4 bolts, hence not having a bag of 8. I also bought seat bolts so may not have labelled these because I didn't need them. I started this 13 years ago so some stuff I will have forgotten !

Possibly, but, I did find all the door bolts and they were all there, and labelled so I am leaning on them being somewhere else, the washers are small too, not large and toothed.

That was my other thought, but I have no idea. hence the thread. So far seat runner bolts is the only sure suggesting, I will look at my pack of new ones and see if they are the same.

Yes, I believe they are seat track bolts. The ones for the trunk have a larger diameter captive washer.

They definitely are seat bracket bolts. 100%

The deck lid latch and hood latch bolts also have cleet washers…..well on my junk away.

I would just buy the AMK bolt kit. It comes with everything labeled in small bags, so you know where they go.

Certain bolts are still fine, just need a clean up, these ones escaped my labelling and bagging when I took this car apart.

I'm trying to use as much GM OE stuff as possible.
