The trim doesn't run across the "Disc Brakes" logo. You'll need to buy the correct pedal rubber and trim.

Don't know about '67, but on 69's the center band of chrome trim goes right across the bright insert in the pedal pad; looks goofy, but that's the way it was.

I know the band is supposed to go on top of the medallion, but like John Z, I thought it looked goofy. I removed the medallion, and carefully trimmed the lip to fit over the band. Then I installed the trim piece and reinstalled the medallion over it.

 

I would agree with John on this. It is correct to have the trim run over the round disk. It does look strange that way.

I bought my car in the late 70's and it had the stainless trim on the pedals but no disk medalion. My car was heavily molested when I got it so it is not a good example to study for originality but when I restored that part of the car, I left the medalion off just the way I found it.

Wow! Sorry about that carhodge! I just looked at mine and the trim does run over the "disc brake" insert!!

I guess next time I'll look before I open my mouth. Doh!
