I bought the 69 Fisher Body Manual from 78ta dot com the other night for download so I'd have a good pdf copy. Are the pictures in the original paper copys as bad? Most of it is good, but the pictures look like a bad faxed copy.

They are usable in the printed authorized copy. Scan and post one of your pages.
Supposedly he's authorized. He sells CDs etc that are supposed to be licensed. Who knows though... Here's a good example of what I'm talking about.
BTW, I adjusted your font in my reply. The blue and bold font you post with kills my eyes... Thanks for your response though!

Hawk - the printed copy I have has balanced tones on all the photos, and in particular the page you posted. I suspect your PDF is not an authorized publication and is just a scan of a photocopy. Does the first page contain the explicit digital publication and license from GM Service Corp or is it paper based publishing rights. To the best of my knowledge the only digital licensed versions are from Dave Graham Auto Literature, Inc.

Thanks a lot Brian. That's exactly what I was looking for. I think I'm going to get my money back and just buy a print copy. There's a CD out there with three manuals on it. I might grab that. Thanks again.

Thanks. I just asked him for a better copy or a refund. I can see where that will go but I want to at least give him a chance before I dispute the charge. If he said it was a less than stellar copy than it's my own fault, but he made it sound like a licensed good copy.
I'd rather have put the $11 towards a paper copy or the licensed CD... Freakin Pontiac guys... ha....

Thanks. Still not super clear, but at least it's usable. I know some of the old manuals are a little rough and I was expecting that, but it needs to at least be usable. The guy already responded and said he's refunding my money later today. I guess you can't ask more than that. He needs to pull the ad though. I can't imagine that someone would get it and not care about not having usuable pics.
