The other day i checked the fuel pressure on my 95 3.4 and in the book it says it should be anywhere from 40 to 47 psi and 3 to 10 psi less when i start the engine , well i only got 21 psi when turning the key on, but what im stumped on is that it went up to about 42 psi when i started the engine. Would anyone know why it would do this? Thanks

My battery was a little weak from sitting around for a couple months , so today i put the charger on it and tested the fuel pressure again , i had to turn the key on about 20 times but i did finally get up to 40 psi. Then i installed a new fuel filter and started the engine and had about 36 psi , then i drove it around with guage still hooked up and when i stepped on the gas ( not too hard ) the pressure dropped 3 or 4 psi.

I have another question for you guys , i need to know the correct way to hook up the spark plug wires on a 95 camaro 3.4... i've hooked them up 3 different ways and the car runs pretty smooth all 3 ways. The plate that the coil packs plug into say ( from left to right ) 1-4 6-3 5-2 , so thats the way i have it running right now, a plug going to those same cylinders. ( 1st plug going to cylinder 1... 2nd plug to cylinder 4 and so on ). My Chilton book says the coil pack on the right is 2-5 though , so im a bit confused , and if it helps any... the firing order is 123456. Thanks
