I still have to install the new front springs, the added weight of the blower calls for big block springs. Just thought I would share.
Edit: Admin feel free to shrink them if needed.

Mike,
It was a pleasure to meet you guys as well. Very cool guys, we need to hang out sometime (maybe at another show). I am pleased with 10mpg, after that first tank around town only managed 3mpg I was a little worried. Thanks for the compliment as well.

Your friends 67 drag/pro street car sounded pretty wild, I am sure he will miss it. Talk him into building a street car next time (we both know there will be a next time). 9 seconds on that 10" tire is very impressive.

I will try to make the show you told me about, I'll let you know as it gets closer.

Ace, nice looking Chevelle, a blower will be right at home.

hugger_sixty_nine, thanks.

rscamaro73, hang in there it will come around. It takes time but, will be worth the wiat and all the hard work. Thanks.

John,
I manage to still get 10mpg on the highway, so I am happy with that, I thought I was trailer bound. Looks like I can still drive it where I need to go (as long as there is a gas station within 100 miles).

Thanks John, How is your car coming along?

If you ever want to check out the burger run at Fosters Freeze (Vacaville) the dates are 4/26, 5/24, 6/28, 7/26, 8/30, and 9/27 of this year. Let me know if you are going to make it so I will be sure to be there. I usually make it to most of them. there aren't many regular car oriented events so I like to support all the local ones.

I know there are a couple events in Sacramento as well.

I plan to drive it down to Goodguys this Saturday too, if the weather is nice and I can afford the gas, LOL. I got 37 miles to the last tank full, I will be doing some tuning tomorrow.

LOL, Stevo last time I checked I lived in Vacaville. Thanks for the compliment too.

Aaron yes I drove my Camaro over there, I am surprised you didn't hear it if you live anywhere close. I did not see a green Mopar either. I take it that when you got there it was pretty much empty? There were a lot of cars there when I arrived. I had to park next door in the office building for a while until I grabbed a spot. I went in to grab a sandwich and by the time I finished eating the place was emptying out in a hurry. It is supposed to go from 6-9 but people usually get there early ~5 and hang until 8 or so. Just so you know for next month.

Aaron, thanks. What time did you get there? I was there tonight from about 6:00 until 7:30 or so. It cleared out fast, it got a little cool and breezy. Usually it goes until about 9:00. I meant to e-mail you before I headed out but, I got side tracked. I should be at the next one as well. To bad we missed each other.

Thanks Quick69, I still like 69 Camaros the best of all. I just can't seem to get away from 70's this is my third one. I swore I didn't even want a Camaro when I was looking for a project. I went to look at a 64 Nova the guy had advertised (this was ~6-7 years ago), The Nova wasn't what I was looking for and I saw the 70 sitting in a field with grass up to the door handles, so like a big dummy I ask "is that Camaro for sale" of course it was and I dragged home another 70. I figure I will just keep this one.

Good to hear the Vega is coming along, hang in there.

WOW!! I don't know if that would be a good match race for me, I think it would be a spanking for me. My car is a street car and runs on pump gas, that orange car looks SERIOUS. Thanks for the pictures it give me something to shoot for one day. If my car leaves like that I will need a new pair of undies.

I will try to get a sound clip/video soon.

Blown68, nice car. Looks like a bit of nitrous too? How's it run? How about a few details?

Thanks for the cmpliments.

I sold the Vega a while back. I still love those little cars, but the only way I will play with one again is if it is a full tube chassis. My next project is a 1971 Nova.

Rich, How is your Vega coming along?

Garry,
I will take you up on that. I will forward some information to you ASAP.

Click,
I think I need to adjust the setting in my camera. It is a new digital and I haven't taken time to play with it. This was my first time posting pictures here so I was shocked to see how big they are. It would probably eat up less space/band width if I reduced them.

Thanks guys, I have only put about 10 miles on it with this engine. I can not believe how powerful and responsive it is. I still have a lot of tuning to do, I think I am going to need more tire on the back to hook up.
