I made the decision today to have a new 383 built for my 67. The motor will be approx. 420hp/400 ft lbs torque. With that kind of power will i need to put Subframe connectors on to strengthen the chasis.
Did you really notice a big difference in handling? I am ready to order and install new body bushings and aluminum is out because they claim the car rides very rough. I am considering only poly or rubber so I thought I could get some good advice since you had new-I assume-rubber and then poly. How much difference was the ride quality?speedfreek said:I dont think rubber would be a problem, i ran rubber for about a year at first then i bought the Suspension Energy poly bushings to stiffen things up and believe me it really made a big difference in how the car handled curves!! I like it much better now.
