My wife was leaving the daycare this morning after dropping off our youngest daughter, when she noticed a suspicious character entering the bank next door. She went across the street to Quik Trip and alerted a police officer. The officer drove over to the bank, called for back-up and promptly arrested a 42 year old woman coming out the front door with a loaded handgun and $88,000 in cash. Needless to say it has been a crazy day with the media etc. Mike. :beers::beers:

Ahh... NO! Nice try Tanner. Now go work on one of your Camaro's. :beers::beers:
Congrats to your wife, there's a story to tell your little girl when she grows up! Mike
The girls are 4 & 6, and they are very proud of their mother. :beers::beers:
The most amazing part of this story is that the officer took her concerns seriously and did something about it. Hear so many accounts where authorities are alerted and do nothing until it is too late. Your wife is one very observant person and has a great " I don't mind getting involved attitude". Great story with a happy ending.
I agree. The D.A.R.E. oficer deserves alot of the credit. :beers::beers:
See what happens to cheifs fans. Go Raiders
Being a Chiefs fan would make you consider doing drugs. But we'll never cheer for the Raiders.:noway: :beers: Thank you on behalf of my wife and kids for all of the nice comments. Things are finally starting to wind down. It's been a crazy couple of days. Here is the news clip from tonight. Mike. :beers::beers: http://www.kmbc.com/news/15305596/detail.html

Hey that's awsome Mike. My wife was telling me about that last night, but had no idea who it was.

Years ago my wife and one of her friends followed a car jacker around while talking to the police on her cell phone, keeping them informed of his location. He finally ditched it and ran. Don't know that they ever caught him. I asked her if he was armed, she didn't know and decided maybe that wasn't the smartest thing to be doing.

Definitely cool! If only more people had a higher awareness level.

As a retired LEO I thank your wife for her actions. In today's world many would just turn their backs and do nothing and expect the police to do it all. We need the help of people like your wife. I think you should be very proud. Thanks again. :hurray:
