After 19 years a few of my labels and pictures have disappeared. I hope to rely on you for parts identification. My memory isn't what it used to be. Here's one. Thanks

Automatic transmission (TH400?) vacuum line. The swedged down part fit inside modulator valve, then a hose covered it and kept it from leaking.

It's difficult to remember every part after nearly two decades. I took a lot of pictures and did a lot of labeling but it's never enough. Some things get missed. I'll probably post a few dozen more bf it's done. Thanks for your help

I've had the same thing happen to me, especially the markings on the bags disappearing. I'm thinking of using the bags that have the white area to write in. I bet that will keep the markings intact.

I had 35 years to try to remember things!

Wow that is a while. I originally just wrapped whatever part or fastener with duct tape and labeled it. That turned out to be a big mistake. A lot of the Sharpie writing had vanished and the tape disintegrated. Later on I went to large zip locks with a white flag and permanent marker. They've held up.

I found a great video on YouTube about this. Distribution block, metering valve, and down on the frame was a small proportioning valve. In 71 GM combined all three into one proportioning valve, which is mainly what comes in today's rebuild kits unless otherwise specified. I've said since the beginning I'm going to try and go back 95% original. This is going to fall into the other 5%. Thanks for your help

That's a metering/hold-off valve next to the disribution black on a stock system. The other one is a combination valve used on later models and conversion kits. All this data with pics and correct terminology is at CRG. Trace the wire to its source.

And I've got to say, this forum is truly invaluable as a reference and assistance. I really appreciate everyone's input. It is clearly apparent of everyone's dedication to all things Camaro. What a great community of wrenchers

Those valves typically are rusted in the bores too. Best to take them apart and replace O-rings and inspect the bores.

Very rare curved block off plates for a RS Camaro convertible that go behind the grille, and in front of the weight canisters. If you don't want to reinstall them, I'll give you 20 bucks for the pair. 😱

Shrink wrap?

Those seals look excellent! How did you cut them so cleanly? Are reproductions available?

I also used heat shrink like Dyno said.
