So, on my fairly new to me 68 convertible, the rear PS (Passenger Side) was always and inch taller than my rear DS. I thought the front PS and DS were equal height, but didn't measure it exactly like the rear. I found a receipt for the removal and repair of the PS rear spring and assumed that we the reason for the difference. I just installed a RideTech street grip system that contained front coils, rear leafs and delrin bushings. Tightened everything under load and made sure the front springs where indexed properly to the holes. New stock height spindles and ball joints.
Here are the measurements now from the bottom of the center caps. 15.0" PS front, 14.5" DS front, 16.5" PS rear, 16.0" DS rear. I am assuming if I somehow raise the DS front .5" to match the PS side, that the PS rear may drop down a bit to be even enough for me. All the body mount bushings are fairly new by the PO.
What's the best way to match the front PS & DS sides? I tried moving the DS spring a half inch clockwise from the index, but it didn't help seem to help much. I am pretty sure I got -.5 camber on both sides, how much does camber affect ride height? Where should I look to to raise the DS side front as the PS side gives me the perfect amount of wheel clearance.
Appreciate any suggestions.
