So, on my fairly new to me 68 convertible, the rear PS (Passenger Side) was always and inch taller than my rear DS. I thought the front PS and DS were equal height, but didn't measure it exactly like the rear. I found a receipt for the removal and repair of the PS rear spring and assumed that we the reason for the difference. I just installed a RideTech street grip system that contained front coils, rear leafs and delrin bushings. Tightened everything under load and made sure the front springs where indexed properly to the holes. New stock height spindles and ball joints.

Here are the measurements now from the bottom of the center caps. 15.0" PS front, 14.5" DS front, 16.5" PS rear, 16.0" DS rear. I am assuming if I somehow raise the DS front .5" to match the PS side, that the PS rear may drop down a bit to be even enough for me. All the body mount bushings are fairly new by the PO.

What's the best way to match the front PS & DS sides? I tried moving the DS spring a half inch clockwise from the index, but it didn't help seem to help much. I am pretty sure I got -.5 camber on both sides, how much does camber affect ride height? Where should I look to to raise the DS side front as the PS side gives me the perfect amount of wheel clearance.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I don't have the answer for you I'm afraid but just wanted to say I'm in the same boat. I put all new springs and bushes all around and still have 1 inch higher on the PS. I put a lowering block on the rear PS leaf. That's helped but I haven't been able to find the cause of it.

Simple things first. I suggest swapping shocks first to see it makes a difference. Only shocks and springs can determine ride height. I don't see sway bar or its bushings contributing unless improperly installed.

Ha, wheels are all identical, but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't notice that.

So, I couldn't find an obvious issue with the body bushings, they are all new. I went ahead and put in a 3/8 inch spacer on the DS front coil and now the car is level in all 4 respective corners. Fronts are level with each other, backs are level with each other. Hopefully have it on the road this weekend and see how it handles.

Thanks.

One alignment check you might do is stand back and view the parallelism of bottom of subframe with rocker panel.
As i suggest, the two lines should be parallel if not ever in an accident
Tires have the same size, as suggested, and both sides have the same air pressure, and finally, Camaro is loaded or unloaded equally on both sides. Empty washer bottle.
Pictures would be nice for comparison.
