My 68 is currently a roller, no driveshaft, transmission, engine. I decided to get started on the swap for the rear end without thinking how it will work out installation wise with no driveshaft. I'm pretty new to this, can you install a rear end, reposition mounts, and get the pinion angle correct without anything else installed to reference it to? What would be your procedure for this? Thank you for the help.
And the new diff is a ford 8.8 if that helps, current one is a 10 bolt 8.2
