He can certainly perform at a competitive level even at his age.
Is this fair to Aaron Rodgers ?
Would you guys like to see one more year of Brett ?
Should he just pack it in and stay retired and be satisfied with his accomplishments ?

I agree Royce. It seems the big names want to retire two and three times!! Make up your mind people!!
On top of that I want to see Rodgers out there as he is from Chico, CA.

Yes but to a team who is really in need of qb and veteran leadership. You figure he has already won his superbowl and many other awards. Frankly speaking though to me winning one championship anymore isnt even the standard compared to others who have won more.

Its still America right? Let him do what he wants. He runs the risk of not going out on top though..its his choice.

Yes, it is America and he has the right to do as he wishes, I also have the right to voice my opinion about it. He was/is a great QB I was rooting for him last year. With that said it is not fair to the team, his teamates, or the fans to play this retirement game every year. It won't effect my life either way. The question was asked and I gave my opinion.

He should have never retired in the first place. I picked NE over GB a year ago this month for the Super Bowl and everyone thought I was crazy. I liked what I saw from the Packers the last 4 games of 2006 and I figured they would be the suprise team of 2007. I also picked Favre in the 2nd to last round right before I drafted my kicker in one Fantasy Football league I play in. In the otehr one I also took him near the last rounds. The guy was money last year. AND I AM A BEARS FAN!!

In short, I think Favre made a mistake to retire. His team was one play from the Super Bowl last year. I think he now knows that. He may have 1 year left in him or possibly 2 years. But it may be too late. The Packers appear to have moved on without him and the off-seasons drama that he caused the past 3 and now 4 seasons. Send him to Chicago, we'll take 'em!

Heck no.

Packer fans just can't seem to move on; still talk about the "Lombardi days" which ended almost 40 years ago. Remember, he came out of retirement in '69 to lead the Redskins to a ho-hum 7-5-2 record.

Go look at the last play of the season - Ryan Grant wide freakin' open in the middle of the field, #4 just has to force it to one of his well-covered buds, along the sideline no less. Easy pick; game, season over.

Move on - Aaron Rodgers is the guy. If push comes to shove I will bet the Packers will release Favre. No fool like an old fool.

Brett should not come back. He is admired, respected, even worshipped by hundreds of thousands of us, but he has had his moment(s) in the sun. It's time for a new Green Bay dominance. Besides, i'm also sick of the drama.
GO PACK GO!!!
