Be aware some of the after market rally wheels are lug centric, and puts a lot of load on the studs.
There are good companies to make them.
There’s some aluminum ones well made I believe, I would have check, virtually same lug pattern. It’s off like .030 but works fine. (5 on 120.65 I think) They do the 5” back spacing.

Okay, I think I found the right combo. 5” backspacing (can reduce that with a spacer as needed) in chrome:

You are kind of my test mule. I would like to run 8" on the front, I have just read so many issues of rubbing I have not tried it... please post pictures and a review when you get it together.
I think you had 245/60 on the front right?

yep - 245/60/15. I’m running 15x8 with 4.5” backspace right now and don’t seem to have any rubbing up front, but I’d like to have the backspacing in the rear be equal or lesser than the front, so I’m hoping the 5” backspace works up front too.

 

i should add that I’m also running a .25” spacer on all four corners (I think). I’ll find out when the new wheels come in and I start testing.

 

What size disk up front are you using?

 

I installed a Wilwood kit, 12.19" rotors and 4 piston caliper (front and rear). The Wilwod add states "fits with most 15 inch wheels". They clear the aftermarket steel rally wheels I have. I have 15x8 in the rear and 15x7 up front. I have some pictures of the clearance somewhere on this site...

 

Yeah, I have the same kit. Did you need spacers?

 

No spacers, except on the front, and those were not installed as "spacers". Wilwood recommends a steel plate between the aluminum hub and steel wheel if there is not a flat mounting surface on the wheel. Rallys do not have a flat mounting surface. The plate is a Wilwood item, I can look up the part number.

Here is the rear 15x8 wheel to caliper clearance, I have a shot from the front through the hole somewhere, so you can get an idea of the space between the center of the wheel and front of the caliper.

 

Wilwood does call them spacers, they are 0.197" thick.
