I currently have 17X8 Torque Thrust M wheels all the way around with 235/45/17 tires in front and 235/50/17 tires in the rear.

I have been thinking of larger wheels/tire and saw a Black 69 Camaro at a car show today that had a Very Nice stance...

They were Boss black/machined 5 spoke wheels with 18 inch wheels in the front and 20 inch wheels in the rear. Front tire was 255/40/18 and rear was 275/40/20.

I have always been opposed to larger wheels on classic Camaros, but the combination of stance/rake and the way the wheel wells were filled in really set the car off....The car appeared to have a stock/non lowered suspension. and the tires and wheels seemed to tuck into the wheel wells perfectly. The owner was not near his car so I couldn't ask what combination of sizes/offsets he used..

My question is does anyone know what size/offsets would allow this combination to tuck into the wheel well without rubbing issues?

You'll need to measure to be sure of the offset. Not exactly the best QC back in 1969....

And I second Vegas. 1" difference is probably best as a 2" difference might look good today but will it look good next year? 5 years from now? Is it a fad now or a long-term enhancement?
