T56 Information - First Generation Camaro Swap

Is it the adapter plate or the transmission that is touching.
 
Max,

1. Just use the two outside holes, it looks like they will line up.

2. The bell housing is designed to rotate the transmission counter clockwise (towards driver side). This has to do with clearance for the tunnel however I'm not sure if was actually intended to help in our cars.

3. By design the rear end pinion is 1/2" (I think that's the number) off to the passenger side. This is what is making your line go to that direction.

The only thing I noticed is the transmission doesn't seem to be as close to the tunnel as mine is. The tail shaft looks to be pointed down a bit further than mine. I also had to do some clearance work on the tunnel at the front of the transmission but I have heard of others who did not have to.
