Can anyone tell me where to find the code stamped on my 4 speed Muncie from my 70 Z28?

Passenger side in the flange that joins the tail to the main body of the transmission. Will look like P0####A (B or C)

A = M20
B = M21
C = M22

Did all first generation Z-28's have M-22 rockcrushers? Kevin

No, very few of them did. In 69 camaros they were installed in about 10 to 15% of all Z28's. There was only 2117 M22's used in 69 Camaros, 1277 in 68, and none in 67. Don't know if that ratio goes up or down in second generation cars.
