Since my car is in no way/shape/form anything close to being an original...I was looking at changing it over to the Rally Sport look. I don't want RS badges, just the hideaway lights and the lights in the valance/rear pan. What do you guys think? I think I can get it done for less than a grand, and my NOS front fenders are for a Rally Sport (have the brackets) already.

I think they look cool, but a grand is a lot of change to drop on this money pit! LOL

Been thinking about that myself, I have been trying to find one in a junkyard that has some decent parts, but no luck yet.

I just added it to my car but I am making it 100% correct for the option including all of the peripherals. I can tell you this, there ain't no way you are going to get it done for a grand. Expect much more by the time your done. The kit alone is a grand and that does not include the rear, the harness, backup switch etc etc etc etc etc.

Well, I already have the harnesses, the kit is complete for $830, would just need to install the lights in the valances and install the front end. My car is apart up front...just a subframe right now.

Them little bitty, "smaller then a flashlight", electric planetary geardrive headlight door motors are EXPENSIVE!!

If I were you, I'd go vacuum like the '68 model!!!!!!!!!

You had better have the micro-switches set just right or you will toast them real quick!!
