I did my big rebuild back in '84
body engine diff, suspension brakes and a few other bits and peices
Then over the yrs a few other things appear, fan switch, wiper switch and sundry stuff that stops working (broke/worn out)
These I fix replace as needed.
Since shipping is across the pacific ocean I tend to order a few extras that are not critical as budget allows.

Every 6 to 9 yrs, a new panel /paint, one gets a few small rust bubbles appearing, at this time I also ship in a few more odds and ends, hoodline carpet sets, body trim at the same time. just to keep on top of stuff
After the big rebuild in 84, there where quite a lot of bits and peices before the next panel paint
After that just small stuff

If u are like me, like to have the car on the road..mine is a daily driver.
Protoise what needs to be done.
A few leaks dont stop the car, tired engine still gets u driving, no heater, wear warm cloths in winter.
Suspention body mounts are potentually dangerous and expensive...wear tyres
fix .. look at wheel bearings and brakes at the same time.
Then replace/rebuild trans
While trans out, check out the heater...chances are it could have something to do with the wiring, if so start to replace suspct looms one at a time.
Each 'project only means bing off the road for a few days to a week.

Take on 1 issue at a time... and give yourself a time frame...say a yr.
Then when all the stuff is done...get a break and next panel paint comes up after about 7 yrs.
