Mt Hood is nice, but it cant touch our beautiful Mt Rainier

 

Pylesville, Maryland....About 45 minutes north of Baltimore and 45 minutes south of Harrisburg. (Just North of Bel Air, MD). Grew up along Lake Ontario, near Canadian border. This winter here reminds me of the great white north. Great site here, wish I had more time to contribute.

Finilly got the PC working again. Feels good to be back!

I'm 40 minutes west of NYC in Basking Ridge NJ. At one time I could see the Towers from here.

 

Buffalo New York, Glendale California and Phoenix, Az. I still am sort of between Az and land I own in Bolivar NY. That is on Pa. border in the Alleghany mountains complete with trout stream. That will be my summer place if I ever slow down.

They are in reverse order so the 1st pic you see is near Lincoln, NE and the last is in your neck of the woods. Definitely going to have to make a return trip up there!

 

Grew up in Pensacola, FL. Lived in Gainesville (FL), Atlanta, and San Francisco. Currently reside in Tampa, FL.

 

Sunsets, mountains & palm trees are nice..... but I live 20 minutes from this place!

BTW: 1 1/2 hours from Cedar Point, 30 minutes from Six Flags, 1 hour from Cleveland(Rock & Roll HOF, lake erie). 30 minutes from Akron, Youngstown, 50 minutes from Canton(Pro Football HOF), it is very cheap place to live with everything but salt water and a mountain, but we only get 180 sunny days a year.

Ohio has the highest concentration of Auto & Cycle enthusiasts in the USA.... I guess that's why Summit, Jegs & the AMA are all based here. Too bad all of our cars ROT away

 

Rock Island, IL - straight west from Chicago (on the other side of the state) Lived here all my life and I still hate the winter. I keep telling the wife we are going to move south where it doesn't snow.

 

The laurel mountains of southwest pa. Not far from the crash site of flight 93, and the site of the trapped coal miners.

 

I'm RichZ's neighbor. Or from his neighborhood anyways, Tiffin, OH. I'll be back one day.

I just moved back "Home". Spent a few years in Myrtle Beach and Richmond, VA. "Home" is Greensburg, PA, about 30 mi. east of Pittsburgh, just beside Latrobe...aaaaah, Rolling Rock and Primanti Bros...It's good to be home...

Hey Richz and Judd, I was just in Ashland OH, a few days ago...looks like it's about a half hour from you guys. I have family in West Salem and Akron.

 

Born,raised,and still reside in Staten Island,New York. In the early '60s it was the part of New York City that was still the "country". Now it's an over developed over crowded mess like any other major city. It takes 30+ minutes to go 8+ miles to work at 7:00AM. What's that come out to 15MPH?
