Wrinkle paint?

Is textured paint and wrinkle paint the same thing? I have a set of valve covers I want to freshen up with wrinkle paint, I cannot find it anywhere to purchase. The only thing available is textured paint, it looks different than any wrinkle paint I have ever seen. I have been to my auto parts store, no luck; been to Home Depot, textured only; art supply store, no luck. Where do I find this product?

Yup - works best if you pre-heat the parts first to about 140*F before you spray, then stick in the oven to bake. Have used it for decades to restore Ferrari cam and timing chain covers. :)

These were done with rattle can, no heat used other than engine heat after installing. It did go on smooth and krinkle but not smooth like other paint. A little practice before doing the final product goes a long way...

Dennis those look great! Nice job restoring those covers. It's been a long time since I've seen a nice set of these. I remember everyone wanted them back in the 70s and now I can remember why. Most I see today are pretty tired looking.
