The engine in my 68 convertible is offset to the driver's side about 1" or so (enough that the idiots who put it in had to cut the fan shroud to clear). They told me that they put in new motor mounts with the engine, so I'm wondering if they used the wrong ones and if that would cause the offset? I'm about to replace the subframe (it's bent), could that also be responsible? The engine is a new Goodwrench 350. Anyone have a recommendation on what mounts to get if they are wrong?
