I am going to install a GM ZZ4 350 Engine in my 69 Camaro. I am looking for pictures of your ZZ4 engine compartment. I am wondering about the pvc, breather, and oil fill set up?

One valve cover will have gromet for PCV (smaller), the other will have a larger gromet for breather. One VC may also have an oil fill cap also but if not, you use the breather hole to add oil.

You can put VC's on either side. Mine, not a ZZ4, has PCV rear passenger and breather/oil fill DS, front. I prefer to plum my PCV to rear of carb vs front. Whatever your preference, do that.

You might do yourself a favor and think about wrangling a 4spd auto instead. It really sticks in my craw that I don't have a fourth gear on the highway. The wife mentions it too - which makes it worse!

I have hooker headers I am not sure if they will fit ?
I have read that there is a clearance problem between the power steering pump cradle bracket and the plastic timing cover and the fix is either notch the bracket or replace the timing cover with a metal one?
The water pump lower radiator hose looks like it’s going to be close.
Some say the distributor will fit and others say it will hit the firewall. I really don’t want to dent the firewall to install it, are there other options?
I’m wondering if this engine will change my ride height?
Thank you guys for your advice I need the help. Alex

Test fit the headers while engine is still on stand to see how they fit. I assume they would. IDK what port shape your headers and heads are. Remflex makes a big variety of header gaskets in different port size/shape. They seal very well and do not require re-torque after heat cycles.

Not aware of PS bracket hitting TC and did not know there were plastic TC. My stock 327 brackets bolted right up to my BPE motor which has a metal TC

Once motor is in see if distributor cap fits without hitting firewall. Small cap dizzy. like stock, would be the option. IIRC MSD and Pertronix make a small cap dizzy. Mine is stock with a Pertronix module. small cap dizzy uses the traditional cylinder coil mounted like stock vs the coil in cap HEI dizzy you have.

This motor will not affect ride height if your old motor had aluminum heads. If it had iron your height "may" be 1/8" higher as your motor would weigh less than an iron head motor.
