is it just me or is 2 months 1 week and still waiting ridiculous. I ordered the rad with fans and fan harness kit in August. I called after 3 weeks and they said it shipped. Two weeks later I call again and now it's ready to ship but the wiring harness isn't so they ship the radiator. I have the rad and called many times and sent e-mails about my harness and have nothing and it's almost October. Finally got through and was told they were shipping the harness ( heard that one before). That was a week and a half ago. I was excited when I made my order and they have ruined that. I will never do business with these clowns again, they've lied to me and took my money on day 1 without giving a crap about customer service.

Re: entropy radiator warning

I bought mine from Dillion Radiator In Rodchester Min. Great unit,Rad, Fan's and schroud with all the wiring for around 500 buck's. very pleased and it is 5 years old and 30, 000 miles with no issues .

Re: entropy radiator warning

Sad that there are so many companies that build very good products and fail to deliver then as promises.

I don't know if it's just arrogance in that they think their stuff is so good they don't need to provide good customer service or what. The sales side of the business seems to be their main focus and delivering on promises a very low priority.

Re: entropy radiator warning

I know your frustration. I have heard all that BS many times before. I wonder if they do drop shipment. That is typically the delay.

I got my in 36 hours with Champion.

Re: entropy radiator warning

Send everything back, refuse delivery of the harness and dispute the charge with your credit card company. Reorder with someone else. You shouldn't have to put up with that kind of service, it's not like they are giving the stuff to you for free.

Which is a good way to get one time customers. Specialty businesses don't last long with one time customers and poor word-of-mouth.

Re: entropy radiator warning

I got my entropy radiator in about 5 days. I noticed after a few days my credit card hadn't been charged so I had to call them and make sure there wasn't a problem. Then they shipped it out the next day.

Good thing about entropy radiators v/s champions though is there made in the usa by entropy, at least that's what they told me:eek:

Re: entropy radiator warning

Didn't someone from Entropy used to post here all the time? Seems they are silent now with the complaints and delays. I went with a Griffin Dominator with the fan and wiring kit and was cheaper than Entropy by far. They make a direct fit for First Gens. No BS either. Cancel your order and buy a Griffin.

Re: entropy radiator warning

Cancel the harness you don't need it.

Buy a dual or single fan relay kit from summit.

I run the Dakota Digital fan contol on several builds. It runs off the same sender as your temp gauge and you can program on/ off temps and other features like running the fans after engine shutoff and AC compressor connection etc

Re: entropy radiator warning

just ordered a relay kit from jegs who never lets me down. I have no complaints on quality as the radiator is very nice and dropped right in but this is the only hold up I have to finish up my car and drive it for the first time in almost 2 years so it's frustrating.

Re: entropy radiator warning

X2 on the Griffin radiators. Great company, made in the USA,and fast delivery.

Re: entropy radiator warning

I still have an old Griffin 4-core copper/brass radiator on my 80 rs that was a drop in replacement for a 2-core.
Yes they have been in business for a while.

Re: entropy radiator warning

I have my 3 core A/C style original replacement 67 Camaro radiator I bought about 15 years ago with a stock fan and shroud on mildly built 327 and the hottest days cruising in AZ it does not go over 200 deg.

Don't discount the original set up in these cars. I can see wanting something that looks better, electric fans for A/C etc. My point is maybe you don't $500-$700 or more of cooling system to get the job done for your combo. I say spend wisely and avoid some of the things you may not need or that may not work or just don't arrive at your front door...LOL!!.....each engine and combo is different though.

This is the way to go. I have installed the Dakota Digitial on several cars. If the controller fails the fans will automatically run.

Re: entropy radiator warning

Speaking of Arizona Joe, back in '73 while towing my ski boat from the Grand Canyon, at 3 am headed to Las Vegas, my girl friend and I were suffocated by the dessert heat. We were doing 70 mph on the freeway with a tailwind nearly as fast. Engine temp? Normal.

exactly.. GM over built these radiators back then, way over built them.
I replace the original factory back around 1984 around 100K plus miles....reason after sealing off 3 or 4 leaking cores over a couple years... no heating issues....and the exchange rate was favorable, I ordered a new brass radiator in from the US...
it was cheaper than a Aluminum replacement or getting re cored

I replaced that late last year coming up to 300K miles.
reason.. it was vandalized by someone sticking holes thru the cores....
I happened to0 get this one cheap... thu brand new... the previous guy was blinded by the marketing propaganda of after market radiators and did not set up the stock method as the factory did.
