Depends on your idea of nice. Check the classifieds here. There is a white 69-307 car for 16.5. That should give you an idea. My guess is if you find one that is running and all there for 15K you are lucky. Most cars are projects or rollers for under 15K. Most cars have also already been restored and cost over 20K. Your best bet is to find a low optioned car like a 6 cylinder car or basic V8 model that is a survivor. As soon as you start taliking any kind of performance or highly optioned car, the cost is going to go up quickly. You couldn't event get a rusted out roller Z28 for that kind of money. I have bought 2- 6 cylinder cars so far for around 5K and built those. They are hard to find, but most of them are pretty intact if they still have the 6 in them. But even then you are going to spend over 25K to restore it. Try to find a rust free car if possible. Either way for 15K you are getting a project any way you look at it. If you don't have the means or plan to restore it, Spend another 5K and you might be able to pick up a deal on a nice car half decent car.

It depends on what you define as nice? If you are talking about a nice prodject car than certainly it is. If you are talking about a driver than it might be. if you are talking about a finished car than No. The second picture is about as close as you are going to get for the money! It is a 40 foot car that requires paint and a bit of work , but it is a driver! The last pic is nothing special but it is clean and Nice and you will not get something like it for 15000.00 unfortunatley. The first picture is self explanatory.

That said you need to check the classifieds and ebay to determine what your definition of Nice is and if it falls into your price range! You may get lucky and find someone who needs cash and will part with their nice 67? Deals come along when you least expect them patience and time are the only factors.:)

I'm with John here, 15K would buy a nice car shopping carefully.

If you find a car that is not local, see if there is a TC member local that check it out for you. I've looked at a few cars for members here.
Just my .02, stay away from the $15k ebay cars unless you see them in person first.
