Hi Guys,

I am having problem to align the front fenders. When i mount them, the corners kick down. I tried the GM fenders, AMD, and Goodmark. all of them doing the same things. Everything mounted correctly, back of the fenders to the firewall, bottom of the fenders, front to the radiator support and front spoiler, and extensions to the lower valance. I took off the radiator support and mount it again. Then, i jacked both fenders up; when i release the jack, they bend down again. I am tired, WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Anytime I position front end sheet metal to check for proper & final fitment I always have the inner wheel panels installed. I've been burned in the past by fitting sheet metal and then found the parts fit differently when fully assembled and bolted to the inner metal.

Check your body sub frame mounts front and rear along with your radiator support mounts. Are you running solid mounts, rubber or???

I’m going to say your core support and/or subframe bushings are not torqued to give the correct thickness. Core support is likely sitting too high. Try bringing it down by tightening the core support and rear subframe mount bolts.

I did all that today. Tightened the core support and all subframe bolts.
Pretty sure it sounds like your core support is too high. How compressed are the bushings?

I said tighten only the core support and rear subframe bolts. This will bring the core support down...

I'm not fully understanding your problem. You say the fenders are "bending" down yet your pic shows the fender high. At least in relationship to the header panel. As was said install the inners. At this point you don't need the header panel, lower fenders or valance in place. Adjust the fenders (forward/backward and shims) to the doors 1st. You may very well have to adjust the doors also. I assume the doors are adjusted to the quarters. Then with fender bolts loose add the remaining pieces. Don't fully tighten any bolts until all pieces are in place and adjusted. I found it best to leave the core support loose also. As Scott (Sauron67MM) says it's a dance.
