Im putting all the switches and knobs back in the dash of my 67 soon and I am looking for a supplier of nice quality replacement bezels, I would like to replace the pitted and peely-chromes ones I have here with nice new metal bezels.

I have seen a few suppliers selling bezel kits but it does not state what they are made of and if they are chrome plastic or metal.

I need the ignition and the wiper bezels specifically, the lighter and the wipers are reusable.

Does anyone know of a supplier that sells metal ones ?

I have no direct experience with the repro's but I wouldn't be afraid to go with CHQ. The majority of CHQ pieces I have used have been fine. Because of bad experiences, I would stay away from OER. Of course original GM would be best I'm sure. Here's the CHQ catalog.

That's great, thank you, I will order and see what turns up.

I had a full set in a box but I remembered as I went to fit them all to the freshly painted dash that I used some parts on my other restoration a few years ago and forgot to buy replacements.

When I replace them on my 68 pretty sure the originals were plastic too. 92K original miles, very little of anything inside car had been touched in 50 yrs. I am very happy with the repop ones I installed.

For the 68, the bezel nut for the headlight switch doesn't come with the shaft's plastic support bushing. My original bezel nut has the bushing. My replacement is an OER replacement, so save the original just in case you need to duplicate the bushing.
