Finally the start of spring

Just recently sold my 98 Camaro, and picked up a 2013 Camaro.

Over the weekend I went up to the Poconos to get the 68 out from hibernation and give myself the official start of spring haha.

Thought it would be fun to take pictures of the 2013 and the 68 together.

It's not the original color. When I bought the car it was painted this metallic maroon already.

It looks kind of like a color offered in 69

Looking good. Nearly the same color on your 68 as my 67. They did offer a Madera Maroon for 67 but mines not original. Enjoy the spring!

I was asking because some of the pictures it looks very copper. My brother has a 68 SS that I worked on that was orginally copper with a black stripe. I have never seen one that color in person. The pictures of it up close in the sun made me wonder because it looks very red there.

I was shooting in complete and direct sunlight, so the colors can be a little off.

It's definitely a maroon with a metallic flake to it.
