Hi there,

It has been a long time since I've posted here...been very busy with lots of things, and internet was not on my priority-list :wink2:

A few weeks ago we found out that we are going to be parents for the first time :hurray::hurray::hurray: so the difficult part of finding a suitable name has arrived!

As I'm a carguy, Camaro/Chevrolet/USA orientated, I'd really like to find a beautiful name for the little-one...
We don't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl, so we have to find 2 names :laugh:

Can you all help me finding such a name, with its roots in the car-scene..... and no Jap/Euro names please... :wink2:

RS for 'real special' for a boy and SS for 'super special' if its a girl :)

or SS as a nickname with their initials that stand for Steven Stanley or Susan Serena or other such combo of names.

same for RS Robert Steven or Rachel Stephanie... you get the drift.. :) congrats

Your wife will never forgive you and you run the risk of your child hating you forever. (a boy named Sue)
My advice. You and your wife pick a name you BOTH like.
Don't leave it up to us because we will ruin your marriage.
But if you insist...I happen to like Bigblock for a boy and Smallblock for a girl.
See what I mean?

We already decided that we both must like the names, so don't worry...;-)

For a Girls name she likes Shelby.... Imho a very nice name, too bad Mr Shelby never did a Chevy :-(
But I also like Holley for a girl!

For a boy I also like Yenko... And my girlfriend did not say NO to it :)
Nickey is really my favourite name of all, but my girlfriend thinks otherwise :-(

Berger is not a name I would choose... Any other hi perf names around?

I like the Usa names because of the sound of pronounciation, and we both like non-standard names. . So non-european names are perfect.

So please keep them comming!

My sons first child was born Thursday.

They did not pick any of the names I suggested. Lol

Don't forget about Mallory:nerd:(which bring me straight back to the days of Family Ties) or sticking with the electrical theme Taylor may work out very well for ya. Maybe for a boy Baer or Cam.......Congrats and good luck!
