This is my build..I thought about posting it earlier but I just have not got around to doing it. I hope to help others as I've gotten so much help from all of you. I want to share as much as I can and make more friends, I've only had positive feed back and great advice from my fellow team members.
So without anymore introduction allow me to bring on my build...
I bought it with a 6 cylinder and a 4 speed Saginaw tranny. I'm going to put a 396 with a M21 or M22 transmission. I plan on doing most of the work myself. I feel better doing things myself than paying someone else to do it for me. I will post lots and lots of pictures because when I browse through postings "a picture is worth a thousand words" and I can save my fingers from doing so much typing.
I have a little body work to do around the fenders but pretty much the car is in good shape. Floor pan needs work as well. Interior will be completely done. I hope to have it completed in 3 years. I want to make the car a driver. I look at this car as my future dream car "a diamond in the ruff" right now. I having fun building this thing and not worried about it being original numbers matching. It's going to be a SS clone.
My inspiration comes from my Son and muscle car shows. Here in Colorado during the summer we have a free car show called the Golden super cruise. I love to see all the muscle cars there and most of their owners are friendly people.
