You know, I was 8 when that movie came out and it could very well be the reason I've loved Camaro's all these years!

if that shop was building my car i'd be pissed they were abusing it.

that was the owner driving in the videos - he's Randy the president of the East Michigan Camaro Club (EMCC)

i saw the car in person last weekend - it's truly an awesome vehicle

even better though is that he drives it - it's not just a trailer queen

 

Is the car in the video the real one or the one that was built to look like it?

The one in the videos are the recently completed tribute owned by Randy of the EMCC

Brings back memories of cruising Van Nuys Blvd, OCIR, and street racing, not that I ever did any street racing of course.

 

A '68 with no front bumper. Love it. Like the wheels too. Too bad it doesn't have a sunroof.
