Nice car (AC vert). I wondered why he lied about it?

Because that's not the VIN to the Estes car. His VIN is 124678N460092 and the Estes car is more than 10k cars after his.

Ed
And he has it listed in the ad as 124678B460092 - which may be a typo, or ... would throw off a future search ...

What's not to believe anyway ... a 1968 'Vert "Z28" - with A/C ... and an Auto (TH350 at that) ... and a 350 ...
oh, and a really crappy aftermarket radio vs. the original's AM/FM ...

That has to be one of the worst Trunk Pan welding jobs I've seen in years
They could have at least painted the whole dang trunk to match ...

I know what "Pete" would have done if was given this car

But like the lister says - "Good Luck Bidding!" :waving:

The auction says he has paperwork to prove it. The orig Estes 68 z/28 had its paperwork stolen. I know they have copies, but the originals got taken. Wonder if someone involved with this car might know something about that??

I just found this today as a completed listing on eBay. Very odd story.

however, it really caught my eye because that car looks so much like mine.
I've not seen one that close to mine yet in color scheme, since I had custom white interior made (instead of parchment). Obviously, someone did with this car too. Kinda funny, but I guess all I need are some Z28 badges and z/28 floor mats eh?
