Hey all,
I'm looking into lowering my 67 and was wondering if anybody has done this and what route you went (lowering leaf kit, blocks, etc.) and how the results are. I have 20" wheels in the rear and 18" in the front and I'm thinking about doing a 1 inch drop all the way around. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have just been through this process with the same wheel size i would stay well clear of lowering blocks unless you want a mickey mouse set up look at haveing rear springs rear set. Being a 67 i guess its a single leaf i dropped mine by 35mm in the rear ended up cutting one whole coil off fronts & re-setting pig tails. One problem i have run into is the headers hitted the tarmac on bumpy roads may have to change to a shortys set hope this waffle helps cheers kabrka

Pat, I have 235/15/60's on 15x7 in the front and 255/15/60's on 15x8 in the back for the classic look that alot of guys have done over the years. Grad 88 rules!! thats why we have the same taste.

Adrian, I paid around $600 for all the springs. Just call around and get the best price. Be prepared to fix other things once you get into it though like front end stuff and wheel alignment etc...

I got some of my Hotchkis parts thru a company called Titan motorsports in Orlando, FL, mainly ricers but they did sell me the Hotchkis Bilstein shocks and the X brace for my 67 vert. You might give them a call and see if you can get a price on the springs. Some of the TC sponsors also sell Hotchkis parts.
