I am wanting to order the gen 5 system for my 67. The car currently has 350 small block with the long water pump. The alternator is on the right side with power steering lower left. The car was sold with a short water pump from the factory. What way did you guys go when ordering the mounting brackets? I know there will have to be pulley changes to make this work. My main concern is getting every thing to line up. Thanks

They use Alan Grove brackets afaik. You can view the various options here:

Just call Vintage Air, they have all the brackets to make that work. I did the exact same thing. I ended up using a different serpentine drive. I still have all the brackets, even had them powder coated black. NFS, using them on another project.

Long water pump
I moved alt to drivers side
A/C passenger side
power steering driver side

They have it all! I ordered direct from VA. The guy I talked to knew his stuff. I ended up modifying my kit a lot, and they got it 99.9% right, I was only missing 1 fitting, and they quickly sent it to me! VA is a great company to deal with.

edit - you want the A/C compressor on the passenger side! looks way better in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve been kicking the want for a system around for a few years. The extra warm summer days in South Carolina has won.
That is exactly why I installed Vintage Air. I am about half way between Charlotte and Columbia, hot and humid. Vintage Air works excellent. My wife has asked me to cut it down... its too cold.

I moved alt to driver side and went with the compressor on the passenger side.
