I have a 67 Camaro and finally am to the point where I need to adjust the glass. I have the door opening and closing to perfection. Started adjusting the rear quarter glass (wich seems to be fairly straigh forward and almost infinately adjustable) and got it fairly close to where I need it to be when I decided to do the door glass. With the window rolled all the way up the upper rear part of the glass sticks out too far and I played and played w/ it and cant find an adjustment to make it go in. I know the guts were removed and replaced and were never right so I have nothing to go off. Also, is the vent window adjustable at all? Thanx for any input. Also, never tried to adjust the door glass first, maybe I should do this before the quarter glass?? Thanx again.
I also concidered pulling everything out of the door so I could inspect/grease everything (rollers, etc) and also get a better look at how everything works but I'm hoping this isnt necessary.

You said it yourself, the rear quarter glass is almost infinitely adjustable compared to the door glass. I'd do the recommended search for the info, then adjust the door before adjusting the quarter glass.

Matt,

Always best to take a 40 year old car and go through each piece. And you are right, you will learn better how each one works.
Always install the vent window first.
You just want to adjust it so that it is not too tight and not too loose. Pay attention to if it tips to far to the front or rear. and if it is too tight against the rubber or too loose. You just want it tight enough to the rubber that it does not leak. The screw in the door jamb tilts it to the front or rear. The one on the lower door panel pulls the top in or out. It is fairly simple. Put the very long screw on the top interior in before you adjust the door.
Next adjust the front doors. They are a little more tricky and if you really have some issue, you can PM me and I will tell you how to correct any WIERD problems. Especially if you have some new reman parts. But, they are really pretty good, even though guys say bad things about them here. I actually wrote a thread on the front door, but I may not have ever posted it. I did not see it here, but I will have to look.
Adjust the rear quarter window ONLY last. It can be done backward, but not with your experience. Really, with the winter coming up, it is a fun project and a great time to rechrome those vent window A frames. Your window will work real good also.

Good luck and take your time. If you are new, it could take you all day to adjust them. Don't be discouraged if it take longer. It is a much funner project if you realize you are learning something that most guys can not do very well. Not because they are not smart enough, but because they are not patient enough. Also, always think about how when you move a lever, you always effect the other end. The glass pivot points are all levers!!!
